The primary purpose of the Booster Club is to organize, promote and finance athletic programs for the youth of St. Francis of Assisi parish. Funds raised throuout the year
are used to subsidize the costs associated with participating in sports, and helps keep pay-to-play fees at a reasonable level.
The success of the Booster Club is due in large part to the dedicated efforts of those who coach our youth, but also due to large number of parents
who volunteer in our many endeavors.
We ask all families to donate a minimum amount of time throughout the year to help Boosters fulfill their mission to our children. All hours count toward the school's volunteer hour requirement. Please see the numerous ways you may become involved listed below:
Booster Club Meeting
The Booster Club attempts to meet monthly to organize and plan various fund-raising events. All are welcome to attend.
The following committees have been established by the Booster Club to ensure future success of the sports program at SFA:
||The Fall Kickoff committee meets beginning in April to plan, organize, and operate the annual Fall Kickoff in August. The committee chair-person will be selected by the committee and report to the Booster Board.
|Volleyball Tournament Committee
||The volleyball tournament committee meets beginning in May to plan, organize, and operate the annual Cougar Volleyball Tournament. The committee chair-person will be selected by the Booster President and report to the Booster Board.
|Basketball Tournament Committee
||Committee members meet beginning in May to plan, organize, and operate the annual Cougar Classic Basketball tournament. The committee chair-person will be selected by the Booster President and report to the Booster Board.
Basketball Tournament & Volleyball Tournament Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to work the concession stand and the gate for these two tournaments. Individuals may sign up using VolunteerSpot (the leading online sign-up and reminder tool) to organize our upcoming sign-ups.
